The Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences welcomes two new faculty members – Gregg Sanford and Margaret Zimmer. Both Gregg and Margaret joined in mid-August 2024. Both are settling into their “new digs” in the Soils Building and King Hall. Gregg comes to the department from Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences, where he was a senior scientist with Randy Jackson’s program. Margaret was a hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey Upper Midwest Water Science Center. The department is excited to have these new faculty additions.
