Juma Bukomba

    Research Assistant, PhD Soil Science (Ruark Lab)

    Juma from Uganda obtained his master’s degree in Soil and Water Sciences from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree from EARTH University, Costa Rica.  He is currently a PhD student in the Ruark Soil Fertility lab. His research focuses on implementing effective strategies to mitigate nitrogen losses during dairy manure land applications, with the dual goals of enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting environmental sustainability.
