Congratulation to Nick Balster (Associate Professor) for receiving the Fall 2019 Honored Instructor Award.  Each semester, University Housing residents have the opportunity to recognize outstanding classroom instructors through the Honored Instructor program. Yakun Zhang (Research Assistant with Alfred Hartemink) placed second in the student oral presentations in Pedology at the recent Soil Science Society of America Meetings in San Antonio, Texas.  Her presentation was entitled “Data fusion of vis-NIR and XRF spectra to predict soil physical and chemical properties.”
